"This place was perfect for us — we truly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we checked in and walked into our cabin with its beautiful river view, everything felt peaceful and relaxing. Listening to the sound of the river flowing, surrounded by mountains, nature, and the cool fresh air, made it such a special experience. The fire pits were perfect for gathering together and enjoying quality family time. It was the perfect place to disconnect from everything and simply enjoy the moment. We came to celebrate my in-laws’ 50th anniversary, and they absolutely loved it — which meant so much to us. For future guests: The cabins are secluded, which makes the experience even more peaceful. If you have a Costco membership, I highly recommend stopping in Calgary before arriving to stock up on snacks, breakfast items, and wine. Our cabin (#5) included a mini stove, which was very helpful for making breakfast, sleeping in a little longer, and then getting back on the road. Eating out in Banff can get quite expensive, so this definitely helped us save some money. We bought milk, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, bread, jelly, and peanut butter for quick breakfasts and sandwiches for the road. There are times when restaurants are far away, and if you plan on hiking, you’ll definitely want to bring plenty of snacks. Other than that, if you’re looking for a peaceful camping getaway, this is the place. Don’t hesitate — you will definitely enjoy it. Bear Creek — see you next year"

"The property is lovely. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast (included) was absolutely fantastic, lots of hot and cold choices and healthy selections. It was a very quiet, comfortable space to spend the night."

"theres a weird smell in the room when we first get inside and somehow i woke up with some rashes and itch, i guess the room are not clean thoroughly. staff are all accommodating and approachable. experience was awesome would go back again for sure but hopefully with 101% clean linens and smelled fresh room."

"The great parts... staff, rustic lodge feel, surrounding geography, attached restaurant and bar, afternoon tea, complimentary coffee station just outside our room. Pool, gym, hot tub and steam were nice. The room was quaint, and matched vibe of hotel, but was admittedly a bit tired looking. Still a wonderful little get away for us!"

"Very clean and cozy cabins, it was a great place to stay for the night and we will be back. The fireplace was premade and easy to use and you were able to go over to the main lodge for food and drinks and/or to play a board game. You were also able to bring board games back to your cabin with you. Only thing missing was that I wish every cabin had a shower, but honestly wasn’t a big deal. It was about a 25 minute drive to Banff."
