Ein ganz nettes aber sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel . Leider wird das Hotel um Mitternacht zugesperrt und kommt man später heim muss man die Besitzer aus dem Bett klingeln was leider sehr unangenehm ist als Gast .

Hotel, welches schon etwas "in die Jahre" gekommen ist. Frühstück direkt am See ist möglich (sofern man alles selbst hinträgt). Gute Ausgangsposition für Ausflüge rund um den See. Personal ok.

Lage ist gut direkt am See

Zimmer sehr klein, Dusche sehr klein, Matratze sehr weich, Die sehr schöne Terrasse direkt am See ist von Hotel getrennt durch Hauptstrasse, Frühstück umständlich auf Terrasse, da Essen mit Tablett über sie Strasse gebracht werden muss.

Kleines Hotel am Lago Maggiore

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage am Lago. Von dort aus kann man mit dem Schiff oder Boot die Borromäischen Inseln besuchen (traumhaft schön). Zum Strand an der Villa Fedora läuft man gemütlich ca. 7 Minuten. Badeschuhe sind empfohlen. Abends kann man im Hotel oder auch in anderen Restaurants sehr gut essen und trinken. Das Hotel ist einfach und schön sauber. Das Team freundlich und nett. Es waren 8 wunderschöne Tage in Baveno.

Basic hotel in good location in Baveno. We asked for a lakeview room and this was good, though the road below the room was v noisy. Closing the windows and using aircon ensured a good sleep. However, the use of aircon was only poss by plugging the unit into a neaby socket - the socket dedicated to the aircon unit was locked off. The manager told us aircon was not available (too early in season!). As I was attending a conference with lots of business meetings and dinners I wanted to iron some shirts and press a suit - no iron or facilities were available. We were directed to a laundry in the vilage which could not provide the service in time. However, found that even guests staying in the main conference hotel could not get irons either - maybe it's an Italian hotel thing? Breakfast was adequate if basic and did not use dining room for any other meals or use the bar. Staff were helpful in booking transfer to airport. Found that rooms were being offered at lower rate than mine but pre-booked rate was applied. Overall would not use again as I think there were better hotels available in Baveno for similar prices

Great location, friendly staff but a little dated.

The motel had a very good location. The restaurant had good food. The room was small for 2 people with 2 large suitcases. Our room was at the back of the motel directly in front of the local church whose bells tolled every half an hour from 8am to 9.30pm in the summer when we were there. This took a bit of getting used to. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was continental and could be eaten over the road on the lakeside terrace. A beautiful location.

Erschwingliches Hotel direkt am See

Hatte einen Konferenzaufenthalt, daher störte mich das nicht wirklich funktionierende Internet nicht. Für Geschäftsreisende leider völlig ungeeignet. Hotelier will durchgelegene Matratze austauschen. Nette Leute, gutes Frühstück. Das Restaurant habe ich nicht ausprobiert.

Hôtel restaurant FAMILIAL ET CONVIVIAL

Nous connaissons cet établissement depuis une vingtaine d'année et nous y retournons avec plaisir. Repris par le fils et sa femme, nous avons apprécié l'accueil et la disponibilité. La situation est idéale, proche des commerces et de l'embarcadère. La restauration sur la terrasse face à l'hôtel et devant l'île des pêcheurs est agréable à tous points de vue. Nous avons eu un serveur particulièrement délicat et efficace, très sympathique. Séjour parfait.

Parfait en famille

Hôtel simple mais parfaitement fonctionnel pour un séjour d'une nuit en famille. Position idéale sur le port de Baveno avec une vue magnifique sur les Îles. Chambre spacieuse pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Service attentif et souriant de la part des propriétaires. Une belle adresse sans fausse prétention.

Conveniently located; lovely family run hotel

As this is a family run hotel we were made to feel really welcome and check in was excellent with lots of local information and attention to detail. Our room had a view of the church as opposed to a view of the lake - which we actually preferred as the week we stayed was very hot and the room was lovely and cool to return to each day. Breakfast is adequate although not much choice but presented well and of a good standard. The restaurant food in the evening was great - although we stayed on bed and breakfast option we ate two evening meals in the restaurant, this was only because they only served until 8pm which was a little early for us - otherwise we would have used the restaurant more as the food was wonderful and reasonably priced - and the only one we found in Baveno with Air-Con - as must people seemed to opt to sit outside by the lake to eat. The hotel is in a really convenient location, the bus from Malpensa stops almost on the doorstep and the boat dock is a 2 minute walk away - the train station isn't that much further about 10 minutes - but it is a bit of a climb - which is only a problem if you have luggage - for day trips its fine. There is also a convenient supermarket just a couple of minutes up the road - so all in all really handy. We will (hopefully) visit again someday! Sooner rather than later.

Well located and good value (great views)

Location is outstanding with rooms on third level where I stayed looking directly over Lago Maggiore, with views of Isole Pescatore and Isole Bella. The rooms were a little dated but they were spacious and air conditioning worked well (definitely needed). For the location and convenience the hotel is good value. Parking was available via some public parking nearby (2 min walk). Continental break was included in the tariff and was plentiful and fresh, although the variety was limited. There are numerous places to eat within 5-10 mins walk and the ferry to the islands is only a few mins walk. Private boats and public boats are around the same price and sometimes the private ones are cheaper. Would recommend this hotel when compared to the more expensive ones located in Stresa, which is only around 1-2kms away. The husband (speaks english) and wife team on reception were very friendly and helpful.

Godt feriehotel

Hyggeligt enkelt feriehotel med pragtfuld beliggenhed i forhold til Lago Magiore. Desværre var der ingen mulighed for tilkobling til internettet hverken på værelset eller i restaurang/lobby omrpde.

Style vieux....

Hotel apparence récent mais intérieur assez vieux. La chambre dans laquelle nous étions était pourvu d'une vue imprenable sur le lac majeur. Magnifique. Heureusement qu'il y a avait cela pour réhausser le niveau de la chambre
