I loved staying here. The staff was really helpful, the room was clean and bright with the a view of the lake. I even saw the northern lights from my balcony! The sauna and pool were very nice and clean. I loved the bright windows for the pool. I had breakfast and supper and both were delicious. A good breakfast spread and the supper menu and service was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good practical hotel

Though a bit dated, this hotel is well maintained and practical. Hotel overall and rooms are kept is good working order and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Restaurants are nice, especially the old one. One of the best things with this hotel is the location. Especially in summer, the location is beautiful and a nice short walk to center of Savonlinna.

Paljon pysäköintitilaa. Hotellin ravintolassa maukasta ruokaa, vaikkakin hieman hintavaa. Huone ihan siisti, parveke saisi olla siistimmässä kunnossa. Huonetta ei siivottu päivittäin. Aamiainen hyvä, mutta munakasta pitää parantaa.

Huone oli ihan OK, jos esim lamppu olisi ollut puhdas. Astiat oli laitettu likaisena hyllyyn. Ravintolan henkilökunta harjoitteli tekemään työtänsä, sekä illallis tarjoilussa että aamupalalla. Kaikki oli jotenkin nuhjuista. Mitään ei uudisteta eikä korjata.

Onneksi oli superiora-huone, mutta hotelli on kyllä muuten nähnyt parhaat päivänsä kauan aikaa sitten. Aamupala oli vaatimaton ja raaka-aineet vähintäänkin keskinkertaista. Kaikki pinta ja materiaalit vähintään 20-30 vuoden takaa.
