"We stayed at Dilivita Rest House in Dilijan for just one night, and even that was too long. if you have kids, avoid this place completely. The photos showing slides and a playground are very misleading this is not a kid-friendly property. We booked through Expedia for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids), and were given a room that smelled of dampness and had a huge stone in the middle. It was completely unacceptable. When I asked for a different room, the owner (an elderly man) started crying and blaming Expedia for giving us a low price. I told him that wasn’t our problem—we booked through the platform and expected a room suitable for 5. He offered us another room only after charging us an extra 20,000 dram. That room had one queen bed and a sofa, and he promised to bring a rollaway bed—which he never did. We made it work for one night only because we didn’t want more stress, and let our 3-year-old sleep with us. Later, my kids played in the yard with the owner’s grandkids. They accidentally lost a soccer ball during a game, and the owner got angry, accusing us of damaging his property.
