"It’s a wonderful property- or once was….needs a million dollar clean up and update…..Staff are wonderful and the restaurant and Rafters Bar are wonderful hangouts in the off season. Nice trails and location. Easy access to Alexandria and interesting check points all around."

"We had stayed here last November also and you can tell the difference with the new owners. Everything is shaping up nicely. New carpet and everything was spotless. They have a nice breakfast available also. Plan on staying here often as we have a new grandson in the area."

"The paint job in the room was awful, not the end of the world, but it made it feel not taken care of. When i checked at 8 and 9 am, there was no breakfast, at all, on a Sunday morning. The outlet by the sink kept tripping when i was using the hair dryer and my curler. They were very nice about allowing our pet and I appreciated the clean bedding and laminate floor. The heat worked well."
