Charming stay in the heart of Perigord

Incredible 3 nights at this charming B&B! It is conveniently located to many places to explore in the region, offers beautiful view of river & was an overall peaceful stay. We adored the owners and looked forward to breakfast on the water each morning!

I would highly recommend Les Magnolias. We stayed in the apartment and it has a beautiful terrace overlooking the river, which is great for enjoying a glass of local wine in the evenings. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel at home. The resident cats are friendly too. Breakfast is well catered and if you have the apartment and want to cook, there is a supermarket 2 minutes away by foot. I also highly recommend some of the bakery’s in town as we had the best almond croissants ever! You can also walk to town in less than 10 minutes. We’ll definitely come back and stay.

An outstanding property on the shores of the Dordogne. The owners are exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The property is a great mix of classical/period environment, modern comfort, and convenience. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again.

Nice hotel overlooking the Dordogne.

This hotel is set in beautiful gardens next to and overlooking the River Dordogne where there are always about 200 swans swimming around next to the building. The hotel swimming pool is set in the extensive gardens overlooking the river and is very clean with ample sun beds around it. Breakfast is taken on a balcony overlooking the river - fantastic views. Our hosts are charming people who could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable.

Top Lage mit schöner Terrasse Die Unterkunft liegt ideal – ruhig, mit schöner Terrasse, toller Pool. Sie ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Dordogne sowie zum Velofahren. Die Gastgeberin gab viele gute Tipps. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, besonders die Küche bietet alles, was man braucht. Leider war in der gesamten Wohnung ein starker, modriger Geruch wahrnehmbar. Ein Raumspray konnte nur bedingt helfen. Wir hatten verlängert und sind in eine andere Gîte umgezogen – dort war es in dieser Hinsicht deutlich besser.

Excellent location on the side of the Dordogne River in the heart of a beautiful region in France. The property was beautifully renovated with taste and careful detail to the history of the building and the addition of modern bathroom facilities. The proprietors were wonderful and welcoming and served an excellent, generous and fresh breakfast.
