โAlmost everything in Beech Mountain is overpriced, but not this pleasant, older hotel. Yes, it is a bit dated and could use a little spiffing up, but our suite was roomy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The central location cannot be beat. The staff was friendly and attentive and responded promptly to minor problems. โ

โWere it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through.
The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive.
The breakfast buffet provided to all their guests was extraordinary extravagant, as delicious and varied as youโll find anywhere! A true 5-star experience.โ
โGreat property located very close to great vacation town. Rooms are large, but bathrooms are even bigger. No comparison to anything else in the market. โ
โBed was not super comfortable. Inner spring mattressโฆ? Bed felt somewhat hard and uncomfortable- but linens were clean and comfy and bed wasnโt impossible to sleep in- just wasnโt the most comfortable Iโve slept in- not a deal breaker and Iโd stay again. I think it is an area that could be improved. โ
โBeing a senior citizen I really like having a walk-in shower. Less chance of fall than with a tub shower. Rooms always clean and roomy.
Being a senior citizen it would be nice if hotels had comfort height commodes.โ
โThe room was nice. The bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint I would have is that the carpet needs to be removed. It was wrinkled in places and had large dirty spots. Otherwise, the room was quaint and looked like it had been renovated recentlyโ
โThis was a unique getaway. We love off things normal path. This was one of the good ones. Also quick access to downtown Blowing Rock. A great place to relax. โ
