Exceeded our expectations

Great stay and super service that exceeded our expectations. Greeted by the owners every day and felt well taken care of (custom eggs made for breakfast that were not announced, warm bread, nice cheeses beyond the expected). Location is actually very nice if you have a car and want to ski both in St Anton and Ladis (and Ischgl, but we did not do that). Probably not ideal without a car even if there is a free shuttle bus. Basic rooms, but super clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Will come back if I visit the same area in the future.

Gasthof Falkeis var en veldig hyggelig overeraskelse for oss. Veldig serviceinnstil vertskap, kort vei til alle skiresorter, og ikke minst et fantastisk kjøkken, med variert og høy standard på både vin og mat.

Sehr gemütlich und familiär

Für unsere Skiferien in Fiss/Serfaus verbrachten wir die 4 Nächte in der Pension Falkeis in Kauns. Fiss ist in 10 min. Autofahrt leicht zu erreichen. Es fährt auch ein Bus. Die Haltestation ist direkt bei der Pension. Sehr gemütliche, familiäre Pension mit sehr gutem Essen. Unser Zimmer war gross und hatte einen kleinen Balkon auf der Bergseite. Das Zimmer war im 2.OG und nur mit Treppe erreichbar. Für uns kein Problem. Wir kommen wieder...

Perfect hotel for an authentic experience

We stayed for one night on our trip through Europe. This was a lovely hotel in idyllic suroundings. It is has great hikingtrails all around it, and has a lovely view of the mountains. The rooms were clean and traditional, and the breakfast was not the best we have had on our trip, but it is definently satisfactory. The price is a bit stiff compared to other hotels with similar standard that we have stayed at, and the personell barely speaks English. Also, there is little to do in the area, so you should have a car, and the parking is free just outside the door.

Close to many skifields.

I spent one week at the Gasthof Pension Falkeis with my 15 year old son. We were skiing in five different places during the week. The location of this hotel is perfect for traveling to different skifields in the area. Just a few minutes to Serfaus-fiss-Ladis, and Samnaun in Switzerland, Nauders, St Anton,Kaunertaler Gletsher and Sonnenkompf is just a short drive away. The breafast is lovely with fresh bread in many forms. We had dinner at the hotel every day eccept Monday (day off for staff) and the food is just exellent and the price level is wery comfortable. At this price level one cannot ask for more. This hotel is highly recomendable

Great value for money

Very nice place and a cosy room with perfect view to snowy mountain tops - just beautiful... and the hotel kitchen was outstanding - Hirsch is worth trying for sure! During our stay there was all kinds of interesting locat happenings going on which was extremely nice!
