Ottimo albergo in posizione tranquilla, fuori dal caos delle località più frequentate. In buona posizione per visitare tutta l'isola. Personale molto gentile. Unica pecca il cibo ,non cattivo, ma poco curato e secondo gusti inglesi, che del resto sono la maggioranza degli ospiti.

Nous avons réservé une semaine en formule tout compris au sein du Mirador Papagayo. De manière générale l’hôtel est beau, propre et bien situé. Le personnel est très accueillant et aimable. A l’accueil une des femmes parle français et nous a conseillé sur les routes à emprunter comme nous avons le vertige, bon point ! De même pour le personnel de ménage qui est très aimable. Tips: je vous conseil de louer une voiture afin de visiter au mieux l’île, beaucoup de places aux alentours de l’hôtel. Je dirais qu’il y a 4 gros bémols : - La wifi parfois ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre, nous avons dû aller à la réception à 2 reprise pour régler le problème. - La nourriture est vraiment mauvaise, seul le petit déjeuner et convenable. Les plats n’ont pas de goût et on m’a même servi du poisson cru… De plus, il n’y a quasiment pas de plats locaux, c’est dommage. - Je ne sais pas de quoi il s’agit mais du matin au soir il y a une machine qui fait un bruit constant (on l’entend à la piscine et de la chambre) je pense que c’est celle de la piscine ? Je ne me suis pas renseignée à ce sujet. - On entend les musiques des autres hôtels aux alentours parfois la journée et aussi le soir. A l’hôtel il n’y a pas de musique à la piscine la journée, ce qui est bête car cela pourrait camoufler le bruit de la machine. Pour le prix, l’hôtel est plutôt bien, le seul gros bémol finalement c’est la nourriture… donc je vous conseil de prendre demi pension ou seulement le petit dej !

Staff is super friendly, dinner and breakfast are nice. However, the room was hot, and the AC didn’t work, they send someone to check but just looking at it and changing the air direction wasn’t going to help. As it was ground floor, sleeping with the window open wasn’t an option either so was very uncomfortable at night because it was so warm in the room. Also the internet didn’t work, once in a while I was able to connect but that was it. You would expect better in 2023…

We stayed at the Mirador before Covid, we enjoyed it so decided it would be a safe bet to stay again. We like to walk so its handy for getting out to the beaches at Papagayo and theres a complex nearby which has shops and cafes. Getting a taxi into town is easy and cheap. We arrived much later than planned but the receptionist checked us in efficiently and with good humour. However, the wifi is poor, I had to tether off my phone; one receptionist I found to be quite surly and not at all a pleasant person to deal with and I saw her dealing with other guests in the same manner.

We had originally planned to stay at this hotel for seven nights. If you like quiet then this could be the place for you although to be honest the place was lifeless ! The bar area lacked atmosphere. They have chosen black tiles for the swimming pool which actually makes the water look dirty and uninviting. It’s in the middle of a residential area and a 20 minute walk to the marina, a 30 minute walk to Playa Dorada beach and 40 minutes to Playa Blanca town. The food was OK but lacked variety and not what you would expect from a 4* hotel. Most guests and staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. The plus side were the rooms which were spacious, clean and tidy and our room had an amazing sea view. The beds are really comfortable. However the bath towels were anything but and were extremely small and flimsy. After one night’s stay we voted with our feet and left. With a bit of TLC and a different approach this place could be really good

I have stayed here on several occasions because of its proximity to good beaches. The hotel facilities are good and several eateries are only minutes away if you don't want to spend every evening on site. Easy shuttle (Hoppa) to/from the airport if you are not a package holiday guest.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Life guard was exceptional he missed nothing and was always at hand to help the guests. The only negative I would have and it’s not a bad one is that they could do with having something a little less fancy for the plainer eaters among us, maybe some plain grilled chicken or fish. Overall our stay was amazing and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The view from the room was amazing,very good room service, lovely room and bathroom, gardens and pool very well presented, excellent food in the restaurant and the staff worked incredibly hard at presenting a superb evening for New Year’s Eve, we couldn’t fault the hotel and staff 😃

Unhelpful understaffed reception
Generally a good hotel with excellent location and views. Only one person doing check in lead to 20 minutes wait. Inflexible about swooping a dinner for a lunch. No sachets of cafinated coffee in whole hotel but after 2 days of empty promises they found this. No half bottles if wine in restaurant useless for solo travelers. Life guard rude. Had to forward hotels.com email before they would check me in. I pulled mask down for face recognition on phone and was shouted at. So generally rude unhelpful staff.

Excellent stay once again. Friendly and helpful staff. Good COVID safety measures, although breakfast could get a little crowded and ‘risky’. Unfortunately other guests did not use the sanitiser wipes laid at each table for every meal, but hotel faultless in trying to ensure COVID security.

Excellent séjour
Excellent hôtel idéalement situé le long de la promenade maritime à quelques minutes de Playa Blanca. Piscine agréable. Les chambres Supérior Deluxe sont spacieuses et très agréables avec belle vue sur la mer même si certaines sont situées trop prêt des animations. Éviter les 250. Personnel agréable et professionnel. Mesures Covid plutôt bien respectées. Buffet correct et de bonne qualite dans l ensemble même si Les viennoiseries sont à éviter le matin. Petites animations en soirée. Piscine très sympa. Clientèle essentiellement espagnol lors de notre séjour. Très bon choix pour un séjour reposant et agreable. Séjour effectué en demi pension.

Hotel is in a great location, sea view rooms really good value, all staff friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble, food very good, all inclusive good value, taxi less than 5euros into harbour and town or a 30 minutes stroll along the front. Looking forward to going back soon.

Staff were incredibly friendly on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. This continued to be the case throughout the stay. Food was pretty good and a fairly wide choice, Hotel and pool area were regularly cleaned. Evening entertainment was held in a downstairs room which lacked a bit of atmosphere and had no outdoor access which was a bit of a shame. Not sure if entertainment is moved in summer months? Daytime entertainment people were friendly, but not many people seemed to get involved so maybe a rethink on the activities being offered. Overall it was a good experience

This is an extremely well run hotel. We stayed in a garden apartment and it’s our 4th time here. We have taken January Holidays in the Canaries for nearly 40 years. Have stayed in many places, cheaper and much more expensive. But this hotel balances everything out. Good rooms, well kept pool areas, varied food at dinner and breakfast. Bar tariffs sensible and the staff are all brilliant. We used the spa and had massages. Prices are a little less than the uk. But first class service. Some winge about charging for the use of the spa facilities. But if they did not it would be unbearable As it’s a large hotel In summary, this hotel is better than most in Playa Blanca. It’s 15 mins walk from the Rubicon Marina across a Devine paved cliff top walk. Plenty of taxis back if out really late Will be back again

Me han molestado bastante las corrientes que hay en los pasillos del hotel ya que hay demasiados espacios abiertos al exterior sin puertas o cristales y donde hay grandes puertas,están abiertas. La clientela reserva las mejores tumbonas desde antes de las 9h. mientras desayunan y ya para todo el dia. Lo demás muy bien: habitación amplia,comida buena aunque no excelente,personal atento,camas cómodas,baño grande pero complicado para salir de la bañera a partir de cierta edad.
