A good budget hotel

A really nice simple hotel on the outskirts of town. Great staff team, and a good buffet breakfast. Easy 2 minute walk to local pub/restaurant and a bistro/grill. A little tired in places on the exterior, but the room was clean and fresh.

Good but a bit cold in the room

Everything was good and as expected but the room was very cold when I arrived. It took several hours to get a comfortable temperature. Boild eggs for breakfast is a big plus for me. Thank you!

Room was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfy but the toilet would not flush! Staff came to the rescue very quickly and did a temporary fix. They also offered us the only other room they had but it was twin so we stayed where we were.

Excellent value and ideal location for The 33rd Ciruit Historique de Laon weekend event. Hotel was full but only had one young lady trying to manage everything each morning. Check-in/ out, refilling buffet breakfast and clearing tables. She did the best she could often running back and forth and should commended. This is a criticism of the management of this hotel NOT the young lady.

As usual , a very good stay . One minor complaint - I requested a specific room ( no 33 ) well in advance of my stay , but it had not been reserved for me I stayed in R 32 instead ( which as it happens was also fine ) I shall request R 32 in a months time , when I do please have it available !! I had booked a room with Kyriad Direct at a more or less standard decent 2/3 star rate. When I arrived I found I had been booked in to a top floor room with the next door Premiere Class building which seems to charge about 60% of the type of room I had paid for. The receptionist had no idea how this had happened but with some persuasion gave me a ground floor disabled type room in the main hotel. Although boasting a restaurant, only pizzas were available there so I had to walk to the other Kyriad Hotel only 250 metres away to find a decent meal there

Nous sommes arrivés vers 23h et nous avons pu accéder a nitre chambre sans aucun soucis grace au personnel qui nous avez indiqués la procédure pour rentrée. Super efficace et sans difficultés. Le petit déjeuner était super j'aurai aimer un peu plus de variété mais sinon tout était super bon. Notre étais propre rien a redire. Nous avons passer un super sejour !

malchance du voyage d'hiver et chauffage inadapté

La première nuit fut "glaciale" . Mode de chauffage qui dysfonctionnait. La température est restée à 10 toute la nuit. En debut de soirée, un personnel est passé, a regardé les réglages en disant "ca va chauffer". la deuxième nuit, il m' a été proposé une autre chambre , où le chauffage fut bien. Le personnel a été bienveillant et respectueux.
