My Cebu getaway!

A couple of little things people should be aware of: - access to the resort is via an old dirt road, not ideal to walk on especially at night. They have a service to drive you out (but not back) - the bed had plastic on the hard mattress (very noisy & not nice to sleep on) Overall it is a Beautiful resort. The room was very palatial & luxurious and staff super friendly & helpful. The pool is fantastic & heated. So happy they are very Gay friendly too!

Great little gem away from the noise and roosters!

Fantastic stay at Cube 9. It was a treat to have a hotel that actually cared about the comfort and quality of their guests stay after being constantly let down in the Philippines. The manager was very friendly and professional. The front desk staff were great and always on hand to help sort out rides or give information. The service staff were great and very through. And the food! Amazing. Would definitely stay here again next time I come to Cebu.

The Resort is small but good, having the pool right outside your door is fantastic! The rooms were simple but clean and nice. the plugs are Korean so make sure you bring an adapter as the staff don't have spares. You can hear the shooting range which kind of ruins the vibe a bit. The hotel is located on an inlet that at low tide is like a swamp, but it was still fun to kayak around during the day. Very limited alcohol options, but the food was seriously great!

Don’t be discouraged around the area when approaching the hotel. Our driver from the airport was very nice , but getting to the hotel was kind a sketchy and there are pile of garbage near the hotel and smells bad. The hotel it self and service are great. Clean and friendly staff, beautiful swimming pool and amazing water front view. Restaurant in 3rd floor has good food . Breakfast choices are American or Korean. My husband and I loves it. Our room is very spacious.we feel very safe walking around at night there are several security guards all over the facility.

It's an interesting location. Hidden at the back of the road, beautiful setting, peaceful up to a degree. Not so sure why they need the music blasting in the lobby. We can hear it through our door, in the morning. Little load sitting in the lounge. But it's still an amazing stay. We arrived in quite early from our 3 flights, trek across the world, and they let us book in early. While we waiting, we drank mango smoothies. The TV was all in Korean, so read instead

Good things first: Resort is clean, beautiful as pictured. Staff is friendly and approachable Breakfast included is really yummy! Both Korean and Western style I recommend trying both Could be better things: Resort is as beautiful and clean as pictured, but I cannot say the same thing for the surrounding area. The resort is pretty deep from the main road, and it's a mix of gravel/ road on the way to the resort. A big issue for us was that the resort was not really walkable and it was very far to reach places like night markets and food places. If you want to visit places outside the resort, I recommend downloading Grab which is like their Uber app. We basically Grabbed everywhere. Like many places in the Philippines, the lobby did not have A/C, just so you are aware. On some booking sites it mentioned free airport shuttle, that is not true, you will need to pay (we ended up Grabbing for cheaper)

A place to relax, clean and commendable staff

Everything was great except it was difficult to open the door from both sides, whether you are in and out of the room. Also very important for management to warn people about the balcony door because the door autolocks when you walk out to the balcony. My disable husband and I git locked out whle we were watching the fireworks from the balcony on New Year's Eve. I had my phone as I was taking photos vut there was no signal out in the balcony so I couldn't make a phonecall. Luckily, my sister's call came through so I asked her to call for help at the front desk, after an hour of being locked outside in the balcony and all the msquities were feasting on us. Please do something with you balcony and room entry/exit doors. The food was generally pricey but good although more on Korean dishes and 95% food on the menu were very spicy. American breakfast was the same everyday, quite flat and boring. The place was great as far as location and beatiful sea view and breathing sea air was very relaxing and therapeutic. I have to commend the entire staff though. Eveyone was helpful, friendly, hardworking and respectful, from the reception area, to housekeeping, the restaurant and all around. We would definitely come back if the door and food issues are addressed. Thank you for giving us a chance to provide feedback and hopefully be heard.
