Hyggelig hotell i Stavern som oppfyller inntrykket av å være **** . Hotellet og rommene er gamle men modernisert . Vi hadde rom med utsikt over sjøen. Rommet var romslig med god seng og godt med skapplass. Det var også en liten sittegruppe og både minibar og tv. Badet var knøttlite og så trangt at døra subber borti vasken når den skal åpnes og lukkes. Det er en liten hylle til å sette fra seg ting men alt for liten etter min smak. Jeg brukte vel nesten 10 min på å få varmtvann i dusjen og det er for dårlig. Jeg holdt på å gi opp. Frokosten rakk jeg ikke å teste, det var tross alt hverdag selv om det var midt i romjulen. Men alt i alt et fint hotell med glimrende beliggenhet.

Hotellet liger fint til i vakre Stavern. Hyggelig betjening og rengjøring. Det rommet vi fikk var veldig slitt og trenger opp pussing. Ble veldig varmt på rommet med sjø utsikt bare en liten vifte på rommet. Menyen på hotellet kunne ha flere hovedretter. Parkeringen var grei selv om det var litt å gå. Vi hadde fint vær og koset oss mye.

Fin plass. Rommet hadde litt kort seng for en person på 1.84m, halve rommet var badet. At personalet begynte å støvsuge i spisesalen under frokosten synes jeg ødela det ikke altfor gode inntrykket enda mer. Mye rom for forbedring på servicen og rutinene.

Hotellrommet var for såvidt bra. Vi booket to dobbeltrom på samme bestilling, og fikk vesentlig forskjell i romstørrelse, men prisen var den samme. Drøy pris for en overnatting. Det trengs også en kraftig oppussing flere steder på hotellet, som trekker ned helhetsinntrykket. Hyggelig betjening, men ikke så oppmerksomme. God mat og vin, både i Palmehaven og Excellensen.
