We stayed in the tower building of the luxor and it was pretty great the bathroom was slightly outdated and the room wasn’t spotless but for the price and location it was perfect for us. I am upset that prior to booking we were not told about pool and amenity closures that being one of the reasons for choosing the luxor property but we were able to use any of the MGM pool facilities for the inconvenience so that was nice! The free tram is pretty great as well, I would definitely stay here again.

The accommodations were fine. There wasn’t anything spectacular but nonetheless I could check off the basics. The facilities were clean, the room was clean, quiet, my bed was soft & my bathroom was clean. The television was 60-65 inches and the remote worked. The staff I was in contact with were great! My only issue was the smoking! I found it interesting that you could walk around and gamble while smoking. Had I known this I would have stayed at a different casino.

The room was decent but the TV was very outdated. Typically I’m able to log into streaming services on the hotel TV and this one only had pay per view options. The pool was undergoing construction and shut down during our stay which was not known until we arrived and saw the construction and sometimes walking through this construction area to the self park there would be a strong sewage smell. Also $20-$25 a day to park is crazy. Some of the other hotels on strip include parking if you are a guest staying in the hotel. We were constantly harassed by employees trying to get us to get discounted vouchers if we agreed to go on a “tour.” After doing more research the tour was actually a timeshare presentation. It wasn’t just once or twice throughout the trip, they tried to sell us vouchers 4+ times a day. It got to the point we would avoid workers or tell them we already got vouchers. I loved the Egyptian theme and overall the hotel was affordable and located in a great spot. The elevators are a bit scary in the pyramid. They can take a long time and make a lot of noise and clunk around as you ride them. It’s called the “inclinator” which is interesting as it does go at an angle.

this was a very nice and quiet room. The only think was when sitting and playing on the bar you could only have one drink when I put in almost $400.00 to play. the little red light never changes to green

The shuttle was easy to find. The only issue we had was the bathroom door in our room. We were on the first floor and the bathroom door was a wooden sliding door and there was no shower door. When we took a shower water spread all over the floor. Overall the room was good for the price.

My bathroom toilet and shower was dirty. The staff was nice. Not sure if the pool is in service, when we came from the parking it looked like it was having some work done. The bed was super comfortable. Seems like upgrades are in progress, and the check in system is super cool.
