“Very comfortable room with a lovely enamel bath. Staff all very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. Our only problem was lack of WiFi in room one. Also being the room that everybody stops outside to open the next door it is a bit noisy which set our dog off barking in the late evening. ”

“This was our second year here, due to the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, the quality of the food and the location. “As a family of four with 2 teens and a big dog, it's difficult to find somewhere not over priced and a big enough space for us all. We stayed in a very spacious family room. Bathroom had a big drench shower and heated towel rail. Plenty of space for our dog's big bed! Ben and the other staff were very friendly and attentive, also accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was included and fantastic choice. We ate at the pub on the second night and the food really was fantastic and a good varied menu....

“The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens”
