An extremely pleasant experience. The family who run the place are fantastic, helpful and attentive. Nice garden where you can enjoy your own meal. Ferry terminal is walking distance, so as the restaurants of Laveno. Free and hassle-free parking is also a plus. Would definitely return!

Beautiful small town. Good location. Friendly staff, but no one in the reception on arrival. AC didn’t function late in the evening, but was fixed fast. Noise from construction work Breakfast: hostel style

Schöner Kurzurlaub mit der Familie

Das Hostel ist wirklich gut gelegen. Vom Garten aus sieht man den See und alles in Laveno ist in Laufweite. Es stehen kostenlose Parplätze zur Verfügung, zu denen man über eine etwas holprige Schotterpiste gelangt. Direkt vor dem Hostel startet der Weg zum Castelo Laveno. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach. Es gibt Brot, Cornflakes, Kekse und jede menge abgepackter süßer Stückchen.

Trevlig hostel i bra läge

Vi bodde två vuxna och tva barn några nätter på Ostello Casa Rossa. Värden var hjälpsam och trevligt, ute fanns det liggstolar, pingisbord och fotballsmål som vi hade glädje av. Det är nära till byn, till färjan över sjön och till linbanan. Absolut att rekommenderar!
