Fanas de GR ou de cyclo, la Marmotte c’est parfait

Rappel : La Marmotte de la Meije est un gîte dont la clientèle est presque totalement faite d’adeptes de la rando pédestre ou cycliste. Octogénaire peu habitué à l’environnement spartiate des refuges j’étais une erreur de casting parmi les autres clients. Et pourtant je garderai un excellent souvenir de ce séjour et le mérite en revient au couple de propriétaires dont l’accueil extrêmement sympathique et prévenant met tout le monde à l’aise et qui ne ménage pas ses efforts pour satisfaire les clients. Et la cuisine maison est abondante et savoureuse. Je recommande tout à fait aux adeptes des activités estivales citées plus haut.

Great if you're on a budget and ok with no-frills

This is less a hotel and more a hostel - which was totally fine for my uses. Rooms do NOT have their own bathrooms/showers, but the property is well maintained and the service is excellent.
