"I wanted to like this hotel, and in many ways i did with excellent soundproofing from both other rooms and outside (very rare in Europe). however, the aircon was barely working and only blew out hot air. sleeping in 35 degree heatwave was absolutely impossible, and even when it was 25 degrees the temperature inside the room was unbearable. The room is probably nice in the winter though. But for the price i paid this was absolutely not worth it in the spring/summer."

"The space was nice and roomy but the location was not convenient at all, with the metro being 7min plus walk away and one stop requiring you to walk down an alleyway that serves as a homeless encampment. Never saw any staff and didn’t know how to get more toilet tissue, which there was not enough of in the room. There is also a nauseatingly strong fragrance pumped into the common areas."

"There was food left in the refrigerator from a previous guest. There were two clean bath towels left each day, replacing two soiled ones. However on my third day one dirty towel was left behind and only one clean towel was left.No a/c on night 3 and my room had no functioning windows. The room became extremely warm. I had expected more since Expedia gave it a 9.4 rating."

"NO AIR CONDITIONING. there was also no fan available. the windows were able to be opened but air flow was poor and the street noise is very loud all night long into the morning. the picture of the front of the property is absolutely misleading. that picture was taken 3 years ago and the condition has significantly declined with a lot of trash in front as well. surrounding neighborhood not the safest feeling. shower was miniature. bed was comfortable for the most part, would not go as far to say “premium” bedding. had something stuck to the sheets that was almost like a sharp piece of hard plastic tape, so don’t know where that came from. good thing: staff securely stored our luggage in a locked closet while waiting for our room to be ready & had 2 outside doors with codes for safety. would choose another hotel next time"

"The staff were remarkable and extremely accommodating! We had left our passports in the room safe and they were very helpful in keeping them safe until we had them picked up. The front desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful with all of our questions and even getting us ice from the nearby restaurant. We enjoyed our little terrace on the bottom floor and the breakfast was excellent as was the service for breakfast. We found the area was perfect for getting around by transit and enjoyed the restaurants close by. We would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone and hope to be back soon."
