"The hotel has a great location within easy walking distance of the Louvre and Notre Dame. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with an outstandingly comfortable bed. Staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and high quality However, the hotel's listing on Hotels.com (and some other websites) is grossly inaccurate. The listing states that the hotel has a restaurant and a coffee bar/café, and that the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is only a bar that converts in the morning to a breakfast room. The bar serves only drinks, not even snacks. Hoewver"

"Beautiful, historic hotel, right on Rue de Rivoli! The location is perfect for walking to major sites. The hotel is elegant, warm, cozy. You are welcomed with a glass of ice-cold champagne. Staff is gracious & welcoming. We especially enjoyed our interactions with Ragan at the front desk & Jean Luc and Christoff from the breakfast room. We had a suite on the fifth floor (room 515) that was spacious & comfortable. The suite has steep stairs from the entrance up to the bedroom. If you have limited mobility, I'd recommend asking for a room with no stairs. The breakfast room is small but quaint & lovely. Breakfast had everything we needed. It was good & we were satisfied with the choices. There is complimentary tea after afternoon in the lobby from 2-6 PM. The hotel is small but has everything you need. I was disappointed by one thing. One day as we were exiting the hotel, a gentleman fell & broke his leg on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. We did not know him but were trying to help him. I asked the front desk staff for help in calling an ambulance. They said they were not able to help me & that I had to call myself. I did not know the number & do not speak fluent French. A good Samaritan helped us & the gentleman was able to get help. I truly feel the front desk staff should have been more helpful. It was very disappointing. Other than that, we had a great stay * would recommend this hotel. "
