“Had the most amazing stay at Villa Sama Lama!! There are only x4 villas in the lot, and it's away from the main "entrance" of the island at the port so you feel so peaceful and secluded. The villa came with a it's own private pool, outdoor kitchenette, "living room" and sun loungers then a king sized bedroom, huge bathroom inside. This place is an absolute gem, we loved everything about it and the family style dinner on the last night catered by the resort was outstanding. All the team are extremely kind and friendly and it has been the highlight of our trip so far. ”

Communication is through WhatsApp, including when they would come to clean your room, so I would say having this app is a must. We paid for the floating breakfast one morning and it was awesome. “The villa was even better than the pictures. The villa was really spacious for our family of four. Having a private pool in our private garden was a bonus. The staff at Rimba villas went out of their way to make our visit special, even recommending local restaurants and things to do. I especially liked that they contacted me ahead of our visit to ask if I had any requests and had our bike rentals already arranged when we arrived. ”

“The hotel is a little bit old, but clean and really comfortable. It takes about one hour by taxi from the airport (330,000 IDR). Breakfast is also fine, and swimming pools are fantastic. You can swim in the pool watching the beautiful sea. There is a nice Koran restaurant, Ye Jeon near the hotel (about 5 min. by walk). Most of all, hotel staffs are vary kind.
