This hotel was very. Clean, well-kept, and friendly staff. Its walkable to cafes, restaurants, and other attractions and it is conveniently located. If you want a quiet and peaceful night sleep, then I highly recommend this hotel.

Booked a last minute trip to Leon with the family. Found this hotel and could not be happier with our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable for the little ones in our family. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area is walkable and safe. Would highly recommend Hotel La Posada El Doctor.

The front reception staff was super friendly and helpful. We had to park our car and that process was off site but super easy with their staff. The location is super central, safe, quiet and peaceful. The rooms were simple but exactly what we were expecting. The common area was beautiful and very relaxing. The breakfast was lovely which was a bonus:) Overall a very great stay.

I didn't like the overwhelming smell of cleaning agents in the room which I had to breath all night long. Also was disappointed that the room didn't have a window. The Breakfast was great and the staff were excellent as well.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The property has a safe locked parking on the same street that you can access whenever necessary. The breakfast is made fresh and was delicious typical Nica food. We had a great stay!

Horrible experience, no wifi & run down, scam

If I pay over 70 USD for a room with Wifi in the US, I expect a halfway decent room with hot shower and wifi. In Nicaragua I would expect at least the same if not more, considering everthing here is much cheaper (e.g. wages). So when I paid over 70 USD at this hotel (looking forward to a decent hotelrooom for my birthday after sleeping in the van for 3 months), I was VERY disappointed to get a room where the slow wifi was working only 5% of the time, where the shower was COLD, and where a 2nd towel, a towel to step on or a hand towel to dry hands, soap to wash hands in the half broken tiny sink (which is in a hole in the wall making it impossible to cleanly shave) were all missing & where in generel the whole room and bathroom is very run down. Don't expect daily room service! I don't mind but its another indicator of the value this hotel brings. I have never had this bad value for money before. The staff didn't care about trying to fix the wifi and our complaint via Hotels.com was ignored from the hotel. Horrible! Save your money and go somewhere where else! If you still want to pay too much for a run down room with non existent wifi, I would suggest to not book in advance as the hotel will be empty anyways and last minute prices are much cheaper (still way too expensive for what you get though). I am aware that dynamic pricing is part of modern life but it still feels like a slap in the face to see the last minute price after you've paid so much for inexistent services
