“Beautiful gardens and pool area. Despite being next to the road it was very peaceful. Good selection at Breakfast. There is only one coffee machine which could lead to queues at peak times. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Close to bus stop 23 and for 3 euros you can get to Skiathos town and the airport. Bus can be very busy at peak times. “No sea view balcony even after selecting it sea view room, my neighbour had one though. Paid a premium for this view and did not get one. Flooding shower and sink drains. Safe was malfunctioning and did not match instructions. Everything else fine, but will avoid in future.”

“Giannis was excellent - could not have been more helpful. The room itself was beautiful, partner found the bed a little too firm but I thought it was perfect. Free minibar was a nice perk. I wish the pool hours were longer but I understand from a liability perspective. The vending machine in the lobby was an excellent touch. Room was kept lovely and clean! John was absolutely amazing and very easy to reach, he helped set up an airport transfer for when we got to the island, gave us recommendations on places to eat and see on the island, and was easy to reach had we needed anything at all. Our plane didn’t land on the island until 11 pm and we had no issues with finding our room on arrival or checking in so late. “Cute village. Swimming pool area is cute and relaxing. Bus stop is nearby. the Village is on the hill so has good view but need to walk up all the way and many stairs. in the case ur knee is not strong, check the room location in advance with to hotel. During the stay, hot water was not stable nor controllable so I and my friend both got scald bc very hot water comes out all of sudden almost every 2mins. It was repeating. ”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rene. We arrived much later than planned but were welcomed so graciously and even made some food. The rooms, with fantastic air conditioning, and grounds were spotless because they were cleaned every day. ALL staff were friendly and approachable. Sunbeds, swimming and restaurant area were all well maintained. Beach and town centre all within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.”
