Several places to eat close by and lots to see in walking distance. The only negative was a strange bathroom lay out with the toillette boxed in by the shower stall. "One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The location is excellent; about 5 minutes walk from train station and very quiet! The lobby/lounge is like stepping back in time to classy 40’s. Excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Our room was lovely; comfortable bed, sheets and fabulous towels. We also had a massage when we first arrived being we had been traveling prior to Genoa and I had an excellent lymphatic drainage massage. Fantastic! Trains took us to Rapello for a boat tour to less traveled Italian Riviera villages. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!"
