"I understand monies might be limited to keep a landmark building up to our modern standards. But, lumpy creaky mattress, missing light bulbs, a TV/no channels programmed, a simple box of tissues all lacking even after a request placed. 10/10 Excellent

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Lerwick than the Fort Charlotte Guest House. The place is a gem, a mere steps from the heart of Lerwick. The rooms are clean, quiet and cozy. The staff is hospitable and full of helpful ideas and advice. Ryan’s email communication during and in advance of our stay was exceptional, both timely and informative. The breakfast spread is varied and delicious. I especially enjoyed chatting and sharing experiences with the staff and different world...
