“Hôtel Bien-Être Aux Cyprès de Marquay is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The hotel is situated in the beautiful and peaceful village of Marquay, surrounded by the magnificent countryside of the Périgord Noir. It is the perfect location for exploring the region while still offering a wonderfully calm and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. The property is charming and full of character. “Our stay at “au pays de Jacquou” was absolutely wonderful. Somehow remote, but also close enough (7 km) to Thenon, the village where we attended a wedding. Staff (the owners themselves and their little daughter) was very helpful and very kind. It happened that they were invited to the wedding as well! So cool! Continental Breakfast was included in our stay. The room was very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The environment was very quiet. When I go back to Dordogne in...

“We really liked the location for visiting Brive-la-Gaillarde and the breakfast was very good. We had issues with the WiFi not working while we were there for our 6 night stay. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable.”

“The room was pretty small. The cleaning very poor. The location not so bad but overall not recommended. Maximum one night for a quick stop over.”
