Bluebeard's Castle Resort

Bluebeard's Castle Resort

8/10 Good
"We stayed here the night before we left the island on our last night of vacation. Spotlessly clean and modern rooms, and the resort itself was easy to navigate and find the amenities. The a/c is COLD and works well - comfy sheets, pillows, and other thoughtful touches around the room. The pool area is lovely, and the views from our rooms as well as all around the resort - and the breezes - are phenomenal. Lots of birds, lizards, and other creatures around to watch - and if you get there on a day the cruise ships are coming in you can see those and other watercraft from your room which is run to watch. FYI - We had two rooms and were charged a 250 dollar “damage hold” for potential damages for each room - while this was refunded to us after almost two weeks, I do think that should be clearly listed in the description. I do think this is a great place to stay and it is well priced for the island. You will ideally need your own car or to call a taxi or driving service, bc it’s a bit far for walking to town or beaches."

"Amazing location on the boardwalk. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. The hotel is historic, and doesn't have elevators. Our room was very clean, the towels and bed sheets were clean. The pool was nice, overlooking the ocean. Staff was friendly and amazing. I just didn't understand why we had to pay $3 to use the hotel towels since we were guests. Overall it was a good experience."

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas

10/10 Excellent
"Really enjoyed our stay. The beach was clean, staff was friendly. Utilize the golf carts to get around the property or get your steps in! The lady LINDSEY will pick you up on the beach or other private charters. Our goal was to roam the island and dine at different restaurants, we took advantage of all of the restaurants on property. The coffee shop was easy for a quick breakfast. I would recommend bringing your own yeti or purchasing one in the coffee shop to prevent your drinks from melting so fast. I loved hanging out under the tree. And don’t forget to use the pool and beach near Coconut Cove restaurant/ resident side"
