"Staff at front desk was not truthful about timeshare misled me into believing they were giving me a discounted excursion because I paid too much for my room from Expedia after I signed up for excursion and paid they said be at seminar at 9 am that’s when I asked was this a timeshare seminar and they said yes. I had to go to management and get it canceled. Get a refund and then I paid full price for the excursion. Also the food at the Margaritaville restaurant was not very good and overcooked, and one of the staff was very rude. Did not come back to our table after someone else brought our food. We had never been anywhere like that before we were excited to be there. The island was beautiful however, I will not recommend my friends to go there"

"Do not stay here! Property is in shambles. Bar not open. Safe didnt work. Gave us another room, safe didnt work. Lobby furniture is dirty and carpets are worn and stained. Villa area is a home for ferrel cats. Pool area dirty. Looks like no repairs or upkeep since hurricane. Didn't feel safe walking the property. Expedia should remove this hotel from their site. "
