"We arrived late after a long travel and wanted something close to the airport. We had limited options last minute. The walls in the condo needed a good scrub down. The beds were comfortable and clean. They provided way more than enough towels which was nice. However I felt like the place needed upgrades and wasn’t worth the big price. "The Westin Reserva Conchal delivered an unforgettable Costa Rica experience. The resort is absolutely beautiful — lush grounds, a stunning pool, and easy access to a pristine beach that feels both peaceful and energizing. Every part of the property is designed to make you slow down and enjoy where you are. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently high quality across every restaurant. Whether it was breakfast, a casual lunch, or dinner at one of the specialty spots, everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The amenities were just as impressive, offering the perfect mix of relaxation and activities. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every interaction was warm, genuine, and attentive. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and it shows in the small details throughout the stay. Overall, the Westin Reserva Conchal is a standout destination; beautiful, comfortable, and exceptionally well‑run. I’d return without hesitation."

"This a very small property compared to what we are accustomed to. It is beachfront, but you have to cross a public dirt road. Easy access with some vendors, but nothing pesky like Mexico. The rooms either face the pool or the backsides of the property. There are no direct, beach front rooms. The rooms themselves are a typically sized hotel room, with all of the basic amenities. There is no AI room service offered here. Food accommodations are offered in an adjacent building, either upstairs during the day or downstairs at night. There is an additional Italian place above the lobby where reservations are asked for. Food quality overall was good. We did notice the tenderness of the steaks to be a little inconsistent but everything else was generally spot on. There is a pool bar on site, and food can be ordered there and delivered to the bar. The pool bar closes at 6pm. A couple noteworthy service providers were as follows: Andy and Douglas at the lower restaurant were always prompt and friendly. We spoke to them at least once every day. Randall who is the supervisor of Capriccios, the Italian restaurant, was awesome. His team of Nadezca and Jonathan were spot on with their food and drink preparation. Randall himself knows how to work the room, even when things went a little askew. This man is going places and is an asset to the company for sure. Overall, a generally chill vibe in the place, never competed for poolside lounges and good service."

"Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel is a perfect launching point for a Costa Rican vacation and the pool area and restaurant are terrific. For in and great food and drink choices and options and very fair pricing. The property is extremely clean and the rooms are spotless with modern updates."

"This resort was a pleasant surprise. My husband selected the hotel & I was not excited about having one restaurant on the property. All I can say is WOW!! The menu changed every evening (Italian, Caribbean, Mexican) , the protein was prepared fresh upon request. Typically you had the choice of beef, chicken, fresh fish or pork. The breakfast had an omelet chef, fantastic fruit/pastries & AMAZING coffee. The hotel was a small boutique hotel. The pools were well maintained, staff was constantly asking if there was anything they could do, making sure the grounds were spotless. The concierge arranged a private fishing charter that picked us up right on the beach in front of the resort. The beach was soft sand & waters calm enough to hang out in. We'd definitely come back."
