"The staff were friendly and very helpful. The cottage we were upgraded to was clean and very cute. However, I’m not giving a five star reading because the comfort of the bed and furniture is a thumbs down. The bed was super hard. The sheets were not soft. The couch did not have enough cushion and hurt our bottoms and same for the chairs in the living room.
Location is convenient because it’s close to everything however, if you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend staying here as there is a lot of activity going on in the night garbage trucks, vehicles driving by with loud music that kept us up."
"Awesome place and experience. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Fantastic tropical setting and mood. Its common knowledge that chickens are everywhere in Kauai, and I was warned about the loud roosters concert in the early morning, and was offered earplugs which I declined. My room was 2nd floor and the rooster chatter did not really effect my sleep."
"Would not recommend this property. Staff is rude, old rooms with an odd smell, charge extra $25 for parking and $25 resort fees, which is nowhere mentioned. Other nearby hotels are much better with a better view and amenities."
"Had an amazing view of the pool and ocean. Room was nice. Some minor maintenance issues. Restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was amazing. I definitely recommend the Polynesian French Toast. Hotel was undergoing remodeling."
"Castle Kaha Lani was the perfect place for us. We had ages ranging from 14 to 85 years old. I was worried about the steps up to the 2nd floor but my 85 year old mother did great using her cane. I saw in the reviews before we stayed that some of the units needed updating, so we kind of expected ours might be one of those. And it was, but it was still super great, comfy beds, ocean view from living room and balcony, trade winds kept the unit cool, though the fans in the bedrooms came in very handy. Castle Lani was amazing for us!! Would definitely recommend!"
"This is our second stay at this property and it is as beautiful as I remembered it. We were quite relaxed as soon as we checked in. We were in a studio with a Murphy bed but it wasn’t too bad as we were out most of the day. Our next door neighbors were quite noisy and we alerted the Front Desk and it was remedied quickly by putting up a sound barrier between the connecting doors.
We forgot to unplug and take home our Roku stick which did not dawn on us until we returned home. Kudos to Matt in Security who took the time to retrieve it. It is honest and hard working staff like Matt that makes a place worth visiting."
