We were there for day 1 of the tour and to look around Lille. Enjoyed the hotel - dinner in the restaurant was excellent, breakfasts were great and the room was comfortable and quiet. Its on the tramline and 20 mins to the centre- or 10 minutes uber . Coffee at breakfast wasn't great - but everything else was!

A lovely property with lots of character. Unfortunately, we only stayed one day and that was a Sunday. The problem with staying on a Sunday is that the restaurant is closed and there is nowhere, either at the hotel or locally to get food. Our room whilst decorated beautifully and complete with everything you could want including robes and slippers was high up with a sloped roof that my wife on two occasions nearly knocked herself out. However, you will not find better and more friendly staff anywhere.

A real find

It has only been open for 2 weeks, so still settling teething problems, but the facilities are very high spec and the young team are very enthusiastic and keen to make everyone welcome. The restaurant is superb with a very high standard of cooking and knowledgeable staff Our room was finished to a high standard . The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very good Just one thing needs to be tweaked, a full length mirror is needed . Other than that this place is obviously a destination for gourmets

Disappointing Stay – Not What We Expected

We were really looking forward to our stay after reading so many positive reviews, but sadly it fell short in a number of ways. Check-in was frustrating — the room wasn’t ready at 3pm, and we waited around until nearly 15:40 while cleaners finished up. Nothing was explained to us on arrival, including how to use the in-room tech, with all in room literature being in French. The “Comfort” room was anything but — painted in a harsh lime green that felt more chaotic than cozy. The air conditioning didn’t work at all, and despite multiple requests, staff couldn’t fix it. There was also a constant draft coming in through the roof eaves, which made the temperature even more uncomfortable. At night, the AC control lights were so bright I had to cover them with a sock just to sleep — ironic, considering the AC itself didn’t work. There was an iPhone in the room used to control lighting, but since no one mentioned it at check-in, we thought it had been left behind by mistake. Oddly, there were also no bedside tables on either side of the bed — a strange and inconvenient omission in what’s supposed to be a comfort-focused room. On the plus side, the room featured a large, relaxing bath and a very high-quality bed — though a bit too soft for my personal preference. Other thoughtful extras included high-end toiletries, soft fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers. The Apple TV system was a nice touch too (just be aware you’ll need your own subscriptions, as i saw no live TV option).

Wij kwamen maar voor een nachtje en het was even zoeken, want de naam van het hotel zelf staat niet duidelijk aangegeven. Ook de receptie was voor ons even zoeken. Heel charmant hotel. Onze kamer was niet heel ruim, wel een balkonnetje. Op zondag is het restaurant helaas niet open, maar er zijn restaurants in de buurt. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk en het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Alles was top! De kamer was super schoon. Personeel was ook erg behulpzaam. De enige nadeel was de entree, misschien is het handig om elk bezoeker een sleutel mee te geven om het gebouw binnen te komen.

Absolument parfait !

Absolument parfait sur toute la ligne, parking spacieux et éclairé, accueil chaleureux et professionnel, établissement propre, décoré avec soin et de très bon goût, chambre petite mais offrant tout le confort et permettant de se sentir chez soi à peine la porte refermée, personnel aux petits soins, restaurant offrant un service et une cuisine digne de belles maisons, petit déjeuner riche, original et copieux… la seule question à se poser c’est : j’y retourne quand ??! Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce séjour 5 étoiles !

Skønt hotel i udkanten af Lille

Et rigtigt dejligt hotel i udkanten af Lille, hvor der var kælet for detaljerne. Meget smuk gammel bygning, hvor alt var sat tip top i stand. Meget venligt og imødekommende personale og lækker morgenmad med flere delikatesser. Eneste minus var at vores værelse ikke var særligt stort og det derfor var svært at have to store rejsekufferter åbent samtidig.

Un véritable ovni de l'hôtellerie qui mérite le détour. Certes il ne s'agit pas d'une destination exceptionnelle ( quartier résidentiel chic, pas vraiment de vue mer.... ) , mais l'endroit est exceptionnel. Dommage que les prix soient élevés, l'endroit le mérite, mais pas la destination. Des choses à perfectionner, mais une vraie volonté d' être dans l'exceptionnel en termes d'accueil.
