"The room was big, the bed was comfy, there was a tub and a shower which was appreciated. Our VIP voucher for credit at the hotel restaurant arrived in the room mid evening when we had already had drinks/snacks at the hotel restaurant without the voucher. Not ideal. The AC unit was not activated (late Sep) and the room was quite warm for sleeping."

"A very nice place to stay, especially as we were in the old part of the property which has loads of character. We had a big, comfortable room with sitting area. I particularly liked that the TV was hidden away behind doors so did not intrude it's presence into the room. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is first rate. One down side is that, surprisingly, there is no kettle in the room and ordering hot water or tea from downstairs is tedious and inconvenient. The other minor issue that we had was that the option I chose to book specifically included free parking which implies that there would be parking reserved for me as it was include in my room description. This turned out not to be the case and the small car park was already full. This all got sorted out by the helpful front of house people but it was another irritation that took the shine off a very pleasant visit."
