If you want to walk out your door and be able to wade in the beautiful Pemigewasset then this is the place. Very convenient location for local outings, cute cottages, comfy beds, working ACs. The bathroom was literally filthy though. We wore flip flops in the shower. If you can look past that, well, staying on the river was really pretty and relaxing.

Easy parking, helpful staff, comfortable bed. Room contained all amenities in working order. The bathroom floor and tub needed better cleaning. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Upon entering the room, there was a strong dank smell (it had rained, so maybe that was the cause). Using the AC helped a little. Could use a dehumidifier in the room?

Everything was what we expected. We have stayed there a number of times. We like the large rooms and good heating system. Another very nice stay. Only criticism is that the fabric on the chairs in my our room was quite dirty.

The room was clean, the staff was courteous and the motel was quite. This is the second year in a row that I stayed at the Franconia Notch Motel and the reason I returned was because I was so happy with my stay last year. It is conveniently located near many area attractions. I will stay here again when I am in the area.
