“The host greeted us at the gate with keys and a quick tour of the lovely property. This house is the best location in which we have ever stayed: Attention to detail is evident everywhere from the bed and bath linens to the kitchenware to the overall design of the unit’s layout. Very clean and brightly lit, yet with excellent privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and quite suitable for a stroll to view others' gardens. Guest comfort is paramount though and through.”

“We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde. The local town of Ponte...

“Got the best sleep on the Camino in this little gem. Super friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms in a quiet part of Baiona. In addition, lots of little cool things that add up…foot gels, free bottled water, included breakfast and fast wifi. Would love to stay again.”

“Lovely, quirky property. Great food and service. Spa was wonderful. Rooms a bit small but very comfortable. Pictures of bathtubs are limited to some Rooms so disappoint to have a view or tub. Outdoor cocktail area was charming as was the decoration. Great place overall. ”

I called no less than 15 times to each of the 3 proffered contact numbers when locked out of my room- no answer or call rejected. One of the numbers- on the official property literature and signs outside reception- actually said to me: “ I have nothing to do with this hotel. I have no idea why my number is there!” After an hour of standing out...

“I highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Camino and want to stop in Caminha or Seixas. The private rooms are small but very nice. I had a view of the beautiful cathedral in town right outside my window. There is a beautiful view of the Minho River from the deck outside. The shared bathroom is very clean and the shared common room was large (as well as the kitchen). Patricia who runs it is also very kind and helpful. Definitely a 5 star stay!”
