The host was really nice, they welcomed us with a bottle of wine for the holiday season… the apartment is super cute and on a great location… and clean! They did allow us to check in earlier :)

This apartment was located in a fun and safe neighbourhood (bring some ear plugs and you will be fine). Walkability to metro and downtown area is fantastic. Apartment had everything we needed. We stayed 4 nights and it felt like home! Hosts also sent lots of information and suggestions.

The owners are very charming and explained the details to us very well, very good communication and had lovely little touches upon our arrival. The apartment is very clean and qualitative, very well located for visiting Lisbon, everything is perfect, except the noise! the building being old, we hear everything (neighbors talking, walking...) and we hear a lot of noise from the street despite very nice insulated windows... especially on weekends, young people party until 2/ 3am. So if you don't mind the noise, this apartment is perfect !

We enjoyed our stay. We are a family of four, with a 10-year-old and a 3-year-old. The apartment is very tight (2 beds/bedrooms), but served as a perfect landing pad. Its central location and perfect price. Hosts were very responsive, and accommodating. Basic cooking and serving equipment is on hand. Lots of small grocery stores in the area, not to mention cafes, bars, and restaurants. The laundromat is located one street over with huge dryers/washing machines. Metro entrance a few min away. Tram 28 departure point is even closer. A huge downside is the noise at night. There are lots of bars in the area, so if you don’t like sleeping with your ears plugged, or if you are not planning to go to bed before 3 am, you won’t be getting any quality sleep. We were there during tourist down time- first two weeks of December, and the noise would start at around 10 pm, and only get worse with time. Culminating in lots of shouting. As it’s an old building, be mindful of a narrow stare case. Overall, I would consider staying there again.

Lovely Bijou Apartment central to all amenities.

Great apartment with spacious twin bedroom and a studio type main bedroom. Perfect for our stay in the very vibrant Barrio Alto. Good access to restaurants, city centre and train station. I loved our stay there. The only thing I suggest is to replace the current double mattress for a new. Otherwise we loved the space.

If you want to be a part of the (loud) nightlife, then this may be the place for you. As we were traveling with young children, this was not good for us. Even on the third floor (up all of those stairs with our luggage...), it was very loud, usually until at least 4am. Not the owner's fault, but something guests should know. While the breaker panel also regularly tripped if you were cooking with the A/C on (needed in an attic in August), the apartment was otherwise fine.

No elevator , The area is very noisy at night and the 4 flights are treacherous. People with children, handicapped or depth perception should be alerted before confirming this unit. The host was nice but didn’t allow us to drop off luggage but instead suggested a storage location that was not free after one hour .

Mooi groot appartement nr 3b . Balkon maar stelt niks voor geen uitzicht omringd door 4 muren. Goede centrale ligging! Avonds wel oordoppen in doen veel schreeuwende mensen tussen 12 en 4 nachts. Drugs dealer die cocaine willen verkopen staan ook voor de deur !

Muy atento el propietario con todas las necesidades.Estaba limpio y con todas las comodidades. La única "pega" es que está en una calle con bastante vida nocturna y eso hacía que hubiese ruido hasta tarde. Sin embargo, repetiríamos la experiencia sin duda porque todo lo demás ha sido estupendo.

Appartement très bien situé dans le centre de Lisbonne, proche de la gare de Rossio, tout confort, décoré avec goût, situé dans une rue passante donc un peu de bruit le soir mais non gênant la nuit ( fenêtre double vitrage) . Merci pour le cadeau d’accueil.

Gem in Lisbon

Fantastic!! Excellent central location, walking distance to water, chiado, praca do comercio, principe real. Clean bathroom, amazing hot shower. Comfortable bed and plenty of kitchen households. Hosts were sweet and had a portuguese welcome kit for us: wine, cheese and crackers. Will definitely book again! Thank you!

Pela primeira vez na vida fui surpreendido com uma taxa adicional (por fora do valor que reserva) que simplesmente dobrou o valor da acomodação. Faltou organização no check in (fiquei na rua de madrugada esperando, apesar de pagar 20 euros pelo late check in), informaram o WhatsApp da pessoa que faria o check in durante o meu voo (claro que eu não tinha como entrar em contato) e deixaram de responder o WhatsApp oficial da acomodação. Fora a desorganização e a relativa falta de transparência no valor final, a acomodação é confortável, limpa e possui boa localização.

Place to stay in Birro Alto for a great price

Great location right in the mix of all the restaurants and bars. But also quiet for sleeping purposes. Very cozy apartment with stylish decor. They left us bread, cheeses, beer and wine. I would definitely recommend staying here. Parking was a 10min walk for apartment in a secure parking facility.

Nice stay

Very nice apartment, comfortable and clean. Good location in walking distance to many places. They took care of our luggage until check in time. There was curtesy bread and wine, eggs and more. Very appreciated. In all very nice. The only negative is that night life outside, it’s a bit noisy until early morning hours.
