Everything about this place is wonderful… but the service is the best part. Friendly and helpful employees go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. This hotel is loaded with charm, the breakfast is an exceptional experience and the evening wine and cheese board is a great touch.

Honeymoon - Amazing Stay

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was AMAZING. We can’t say enough good things about this gem. From our room with terrace views & beautiful tub, breakfast with live beautiful music and the character and beauty of the hotel throughout. You also are so centrally located to explore all the areas of Lisbon. Highly recommend!

Our time at Palácio das Especiarias felt absolutely magical, like stepping into a fairytale. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and full of charm. The building itself is breathtaking, full of history and beautiful details that make you feel like you’ve gone back in time. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. Every morning, the breakfast was a delight. We truly fell in love with this place. It made our time in Lisbon unforgettable, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommended!

We loved staying here! The hotel is beautiful and they have a lot of different things to do. We stayed our last night in Lisbon as a place to relax and we wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else. The breakfast included was delicious and highly recommend going to the spa and attending the the Fado show

Fantastic stay

Beautiful old building as well as the decor. We had breakfast in the loveliest room while listening to live piano and violin music. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic.
