The property is very well located, the views from the rooftop and all the different decks and sitting areas are gorgeous. The staff is extremely attentive and took great care of us. Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful hotel, highly recommend

This is a wonderful, well situated hotel. The staff were all extremely polite and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed, even though a couple of extra sockets (for charging our devices) would have been great. The breakfast was amazing with vide variety of literally everything - pastries, cereals, fruit, fried foods, coffees and juices, cold meat cuts and cheese. The beach is literally just across the small street and is very clean. We would stay at Sana Sesmbra again, without a moment's hesitation.

Good: helpful staff, great sea view from balcony. Average : the swimming pool for kids only - just 0,90m deep. Not so good: few amenities, hotel interior tired and dated, underground parking a challenge for a larger car. Bad: breakfast edible, but should have been better at the price.

The Sana is one of the nicest hotels in this lovely town. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was very good with many options. The room was a bit small and a bit dated, but the view from the balcony was beautiful. The cons (which are really nit picky) are that there is a bright light on the balcony that is on all night so you have to keep the blackout drapes closed, and the hair dryer is insufficient. We recommend bringing your own hair dryer if that is important to you. There are so many dining options in walking distance and the town and beach are just so beautiful. The rooftop pool is spectacular!! We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!

Extremely clean and safe hotel right in the middle of the action of Sesimbra. Bed was beyond comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic. Within easy walking distance of many cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping. Highly recommend.

Would visit again

Spacious hotel, nice pool and rooftop area with great view, and very easy to access the beach and rest of the town. Staff are friendly and informative and provided proper instructions for breakfast service, airport shuttle (taxi), and laundry service. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with many options. However, there weren’t many easily accessible electrical outlets in the room so had to unplug the lamps and move bedside tables in order to charge phones. Overall, great location and great service and cannot wait to visit again!

Great hotel

After a small delay in check in we received our room. It was located by the boiler rooms and was quite noisy on the first night so we were switched to a different room with no hassle. The roof top terrace is perfect for sunbathing and great views of the beach. We had the set meal in the evening which was amazing quality and good value for money.

The property is beautiful And located right on the beach. however I was put in a room that faced another building and had no view. I would highly recommend the hotel, but please ask to be put in a room. The face is the ocean.

We upgraded to room with a sea view and the room was lovely exactly like the images. On the small side but the balcony view made up for it . The bathroom grout was discoloured but room service was regular and reliable. The staff are super friendly and go out there way to help you. Sesimbra had all you need for a beautiful holiday . I’ll be back .

Fantastic location, great ocean view, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast. My only concern was with the shower, which was lukewarm on two of my three nights. When I reported it to the front desk, they explained that it was due to high demand at the same time, but this didn’t make sense, as it wasn’t a busy season. For a four-star hotel, I’d expect a reliable hot water supply regardless of occupancy. Overall, though, a great experience with just this one small issue.
