Very nice, clean and quiet (after 10-11pm) boutique hotel one street off of Rossio Square in central Lisbon, walking distance to many of the city’s best attractions and restaurants. Just be aware there are stairs up one story to the lobby and a very tight/slow elevator to most rooms. The rooftop lounge and restaurant are great options for drinks and dinner. Nice full buffet breakfast was included in the nightly rate.

The staff was helpful to carry our luggage upstairs….but, we weren’t aware that there was not elevators and I have back problems. The roof top was beautiful, but difficult for me to reach. Breakfast was great. The room was nice and well decorated.

The hotel is centrally located, but the stairs/lack of elevator is what knocked my score of this hotel down quite a bit. I booked this hotel since they offered a family room with a variety of bed configurations but didn’t see any reviews stating that the hotel really doesn’t have an elevator and you have to hike up many flights of stairs with your luggage and daily to access the breakfast, which is on the rooftop. The room we had was “clean” but in need of a deep clean. The staff was super nice and helpful, breakfast was decent. Overall, we were fine but all said we wouldn’t stay again due to the stairs. Also, there are daily performances outside of the hotel until midnight-1am. Just something to keep in mind as it will impact sleep.

Lovely comfy room, with very large comfy bed. Lovely roof top terrace for breakfast and evening drinks or meal. Breakfast choice was great with superb coffee and a wonderful view to the castle. Staff were friendly. May be difficult for the infirm as lots of steps up to rooms, there is a small lift but not sure how helpful it would be. The hotel is in a great central location for exploring Lisbon
