"This was our second hotel in this chain we stayed at and it too was excellent. My only complaint was the cool light LEDs in our room and the breakfast area. Warm whites are SO much better."

"The property had easy to access to the major highways for site seeing. There was an indoor pool however the water was cold and there was no fitness area. There was a Hertz car rental setup in the front lobby. Breakfast had a very limited selection of food. Only bread and bagels to toast for hot food. Definitely a light breakfast. Plenty of parking with many restaurants in close driving range."

"We liked the proximity of the resort to the marina, where we took a Salty Dog tour of Oak Island. We both enjoyed the meal we had at the onsite restaurant. The only complaint would be the several stairs we had to take along with our luggage to get to our room."

"The owner is very personable and helpful. We stayed in the separate lodging on the property, not in the house. We had a very spacious upstairs room. Note, the breakfast is not included for stays in the separate building. Highly recommended ."

"We enjoyed staying at the Black Forest Cabins. It was close to everything, and walkable to the waterfront. We stayed 2 nights, so we could also visit Lunenburg, and drive right back. Great restaurants close by, and we also took advantage of the walking trails nearby. Beautiful location in the forest with deer nearby. Thank you!"
