"It’s an older hotel but it has been recently renovated. All updated furniture and the bed was excellent. Very clean room. Continental breakfast had a good variety of breakfast items and staff replenished as needed. Staff were helpful. Free parking. Wasn’t sure when I arrived but pleasantly surprised."

"This is a great hotel in Halifax. We stayed twice so far and each time our stay is very good. Ample free parking, gas station next to it, Walmart and Costco down the street. Room is big, clean, refrigerator plus microwave. Property looks good. Great shower. Staff very helpful. Safe location. Drinking water station and 24 hours coffee in lobby. I did not get the chance to try their onsite restaurant. Highly recommended."

"The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable. They charged us extra because our room had a kitchenette, but it wasn’t usable because there were no dishes, cutlery, or pans. It did have a large fridge."

"The owners have obviously poured a lot of time, effort and love into the property. Breakfast was superb, with everything from egg bites to prosciutto and yogurt, and many things gluten-free. Bathroom was excellent and heated floor much appreciated. One suggestion: Those with tricky backs and knees will not love Room 10, advertised as “Sunny Queen/Twin Bunk Bed.” The queen frame is on the floor, like an old-style futon, and we seniors struggled a bit to get up off it in the middle of the night, and manoeuvre around the loft ladder and legs."

"I was an Expedia VIP customer for the first time. Serge greeted me and assisted with getting me a welcome treat. Soft towels, jetted tub. Pleanty of hot water. Quiet room. Plenty of lighting. Large lot to park in. The only con is there is no level parking for motorcycles. Something they could improve on another otherwise amazing place."
