Truly relaxing spa break

We had a very relaxing 1 night stay at this beautiful cottage for my husband’s 50th birthday. Debbie kindly laid out a birthday hamper with a complimentary bottle of fizz! As well as a very delicious savoury and sweet afternoon tea. We treated ourselves to a hot stone massage from their therapist Lucy. It was amazing a truly relaxing experience. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway and want to treat yourself I highly recommend River Mansion Cottages and Spa. Debbie is an exceptional host, the accommodation and services are great value. You really won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous get away

Thank you so much Debs for everything you did for us this weekend, from afternoon tea and Prosecco on arrival to your fabulous spa facilities, the hot tub was soo relaxing 😊 and the wonderful cooked breakfasts. You went out of your way to make it the most relaxing break ever, literally didn’t lift a finger all weekend! Ready to fall in to bed every night as we were super chilled. Your cottage is beautiful and the beds super comfy.. We certainly picked a good weekend as weather was fab ☀️ and we got to visit some of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen. can’t wait to come back 😊 Going to have some cheese and wine now from Celteg Wines 😊 thank you once again for an amazing stay xx

Beautiful bubble of bliss for the ultimate romantic weekend! Debbie added so many personal touches that made it perfect. She really cares about making sure her guests have the best possible time, you just don't get that service anywhere else.

Paradise in Wales!

Absolutely amazing. Debbie is a wonderful host. Can’t fault a single thing. Her help, advice and kindness were above and beyond. Probably the best B&B I've ever been to (lots)! I’ll be back with my sisters very soon for some luxury and peace.

Short stay

I would definitely recommend River Mansion as somewhere to stay. Myself and husband stayed for 1 night as going to a friends wedding. Host was welcoming and friendly couldn’t do enough for us. The cottage we stayed in was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Food left in the room for us was superb, from homemade cakes, fresh fruit in fridge a selection of cereals and beverages. Also a bottle of Prosecco for us. Cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious with locally sourced produce. Debbie the host even drove in front of us to show us the quickest way to the wedding venue!

We liked the Personal touches that were put into the drivers cottage, the local produce sourced and of course the welsh waffles. Nothing was to much trouble, lovely stay will definitely be back .

Perfection

Firstly the cottage was just perfect ,cosy and so very homely .The service was second to none ,the landlady couldn't do enough and made sure we wanted for nothing .If you want something a bit more personal than your typical b&b or hotel stay .....this place is it . Can't recommend highly enough 10/10 doesn't do it justice !!!

Perfect country retreat to get away and relax

A perfect place to stay to retreat and relax in the countryside that is also very close to lots of local tourist spots. A beautifully refurbished cottage with lots of facilities such as a hot tub/spa, steam room and sauna, also extra treatments available on request. The owner Debbie is so friendly and cannot do enough for you to make your stay as cosy and comfy as possible. The breakfast is amazing with all local free range products being served up, Delicious. There are two on site cottages and we stayed in the smaller of the two, the room has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. The fridge was stocked with all kinds of goodies on arrival too many to list but everything was fresh and delicious especially the homemade welsh cakes and bara brieth, Thank you. The bedding was clean and fresh and the beds were really comfortable.The cottages are set in the 3.5 acre grounds of a mansion house in the heart of West Wales and it is the perfect place to get away from it all and just relax and enjoy the spa facilities. We have found a little gem and look forward to returning in the future. Really can't rate this place enough which is also enhanced by Debbie's friendly and positive can do attitude. Fully recommended.

Hidden Gem

Fabulous place to stay, by far the best b&b we have stayed in. Debbie goes above and beyond with lots of lovely surprises & finishing touches. The cottages are amazing, with the added bonus of hot tub & spa, unfortunately we only had a one night stay but wished it was longer! Very tranquil, lots of lovely wildlife too & plenty of lovely seating areas to just chill. Fabulous cooked breakfast! Will definitely return 😊

Wonderful weekend getaway

My partner and I have just returned after enjoying a lovely weekend away at this charming venue. The cottage that we stayed in (The Cwtsh) was very comfortable, and thanks to the good weather, we were able to enjoy eating outside on the patio area, and spent hours watching all the local wildlife. The facilities on offer (hot tub, sauna, steam room and treatments available) were all very welcome, and really help to add to the relaxing vibe of the place. But the main reason for the five star review was the amazing hosting by Debbie - she was really exceptional, and couldn't do enough to help make our stay the best possible. She was extremely generous with all the little extras available in the room, and full of advice and tips about what to do and where to go in the local area. Such a friendly and kind host really helped to make the weekend special, so thank you Debbie - we would definitely recommend this place!

The cottage was amazing. Debbie couldn’t do enough to make sure we felt welcome. It was stocked full of lovely locally-sourced treats😋. Definitely a luxury, comfortable stay. Can’t wait to go back.

Fabulous cosy cottage and spa

We loved our stay at Riverside Mansion Spa. The cosy cottage is just so comfortable and we felt It was like a retreat. So relaxing and Debbie our host could not do enough for us. Beautifully presented cottage with our every need exceeded. Food was in excess and Spa and sauna on site added to the experience. Would certainly recommend.

Amazing beautiful cottage

A Beautiful cottage. The interior is very nice and you feel straight away the warmth of this place. The fridge was full of lovely drinks and a lots of fresh fruits. You find some coffee and tea facilities and milk in the fridge. Debbie thought about everybody's needs.The owners were really friendly and made our stay very special. The hot tub, sauna and steam room was an amazing extra. If you really want to have a break from your busy life. You got to come here. I really recommend this beautiful place. We will definitely will come again.

A haven of peace

We had a complete little cottage to ourselves, and although we were only there for one night, Debbie made us really welcome and could've do enough to help. The gardens are a complete wildlife paradise and in only a few hours we heard owls, woodpeckers and in the morning watched a beautiful pheasant strutting around on the lawn. The cottage itself was lovely, with a mass of toiletries and towels and a super comfy bed. I'd recommend a stay ther for anyone who needs peace and pampering.

A wonderful retreat

The owners are fantastic hosts. From the outset they were able to assist us with suggestions of local venues to eat/visit, as well as escorting us in his car to the local pub so that we did not get lost. Logs burning on the fire when we arrived and again when we returned from our sightseeing trip on the second evening. Candles lit by the hot tub, a fridge full of amazing Welsh cheeses/meats produce for breakfast, along with fruit, lots of different drinks and lovely baked goodies. Believe me when I say that the attention to detail and the warm welcome you will receive from your hosts, does make this place special. This place is such a lovely retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
