We didn’t use the restaurant but the bar staff were very polite and friendly. All in all, very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend. "

"We stay at the hotel once a year as a treat. It’s such a unique and friendly hotel with fantastic staff. It’s a very old hotel but they keep it updated but somethings like not having walk in showers might put some off as the shower is a curtain around the bath but that just adds to the charm for us. Chester is a lovely place to visit and the hotel is in a great location. "
