Our check-in was fantastic as we were provided some options for things to do and sights to see. The hotel is conveniently located in a cute square with multiple restaurants and the hotel’s restaurant has fabulous Mushroom risotto and Aperol Spritz.

Incredible stay

Family owned, amazing stay and gracious hosts. The co-owner, (Manuel) was helpful planning our stay and was so excited to show us his hotel. From the unique Grotto, its history to the history of Lacarno. His English was impeccable and we felt very welcome and relaxed.

charming hotel, front desk guy was SO helpful & nice. it is hard to find - i stopped at a pharmacy to ask for location, they didn't know & it was about 3 minute walking beyond. to find it, you can walk from the train station (10-15 min) towards the main plaza, keep going almost to the end. on the right tucked in the back, after the shops, is the entrance. only complaint is no tv channels in english. which normally isn't important, except that everything in the town except restaurants closes by 6pm so relaxing in the evening with tv is not going to happen. otherwise, loved it!

Habe mit meiner Tochter 4 Nächte im Hotel verbracht. Freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer, doch sonst alles in Ordning!

Perfektes Wochenende in Locarno und Umgebung

Ganz spontan habe ich zwei Tage in Locarno verbracht, ein Hotel gesucht und mit dem Albergo America eine perfekte Unterkunft gefunden. Ich werde sicher wieder einmal kommen.

Zentral gelegen Zimmereinrichtung entsprach nicht dem Foto im Internet, war jedoch sauber, klein und einfach eingerichtet. Bett bequem. Tv oberhalb Garderobe, mühsam für TV schauen. Gratis ÖV Karte mit Ermässigung auf Museen, Schiff war top. Personal freundlich.

Herziges Hotel sehr zentral gelegen. Sehr zuvorkommende Personal. Einrichtung und Zustand völlig ok. Wir hatten keinen Balkon dafür hatte es auf der gegenüber liegende Seite zwei kleine Balkone mit Tischen und Stühlen zur allgemeinen Benützung. Restaurant und essen top. Soll ich was bemängeln so ist es der Ringhörigkeit in den Zimmern und das die warmen Speisen am Frühstück buffet nicht mehr wirklich warm waren und das die nicht mehr aufgefüllt worden waren obwohl wir 3/4 Stund vor Schliessung da waren. Sonst wirklich top, komme gerne wieder!
