"The Grange Lancaster was shut and we had no information about this on the website. On arrival, the only information was a tiny notice on the entrance of the hotel redirecting us to another of the grange hotels. On arrival at that hotel, there was no record of our booking and was directed to a third hotel within the chain. We spent over an hour after a long journey trying to check in. "Very well located right on the banks of the Thames. Good buffet breakfast with lots of choice but very busy at times. I didn't like that the bed which was advertised as "queen size" was actually smaller than king size. I got an "accessible" room which I did not request which means that the shower/ wetrokm had just a plastic flappy curtain, the wi-fi didn't work and the reception lady was bossy for no reason."

"I hadn’t had the opportunity to stay in London for over a year and as the Strand Palsce was previously always my first choice I decided to return. I was not disappointed! The welcome as I arrived at the front entrance to my departure the following morning reminded me why this has been my favourite London hotel for a good number of years. I look forward to returning in the hopefully not too distant future."
