King Mountain is a great hike to the top, though never an easy one. There is a radio station tower on top, and I actually encountered several workers when I got to the top, they have to hike up also each time they have to work on the tower. Great views of the lake and mountains. There are a couple of places to park right beside the mountain. Watch out for the irrigation canal and stay away from it when it is running, it has a syphon that will suck you under and drown you. There is also a small cave on the side of the mountain that is a nice and cool spot on a hot day.

As expected. Although, the breakfast spread was allowed to go empty and the morning staff stood outside of the kitchen talking. When traveling the time one has to prepare to leave is precious and not all the staff understand this.
