Somewhere to hang washing would be beneficial as not every clothing item is suited for the washer dryer. Bathroom nice, but as others have commented, some amenities would be welcomed”

“Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. ”

“We spent a pleasant night here with a very spacious room and comfortable bed, although the bathroom felt a touch old-fashioned. Our evening meals, in the bar, were OK, nothing special, although service was quite slow, and for some reason we couldn’t use a Greene King drink voucher despite it being a Greene King pub ! “This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil”
