“Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles.”

“Excellent! Nice and quiet”

“Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.”

I left the room early in the morning because I was fed up with the noise and I had...

“Really good staff, staff very helpful, room nice and clean.”

The staff were challenging why he had drank 3 bottles of red wine? but they shouldn't have sold him that much. He was clearly a regular. The high street was scary with beggars and people under the influence of drugs and...
