โIt is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax.โ
โThis place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyoneโs list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. This is a great little sanctuary nestled just off the main road as you head into town from Kandy.
Clear directions provided prior to arrival, quick check-in and warm welcome provided. The 2 story villa is cosy and comfortable with all necessary amenities provided including coffee machine, microwave, fridge, usb speaker, sofa, dining table, crockery and cutlery.
The bathroom has a wow factor and the beds were super comfortable. We stayed as a family of 4...

The only negative does not relate to the hotel itself maybe more about the city of Kandy, its very nosey and busy, we were hounded by local traders and drivers all day which compared to other parts of the country we would not have the same experienceits โ

There is a high level of attention to detail with the rooms, everything has been carefully considered. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is outside of the city, the hotel is more than happy to arrange transport to and from the centre at short notice. The food is cooked to order and tasted delicious.
