Superb little gem in the Abruzzo hills. Well maintained, beautifully situated, friendly English-speaking staff. Like staying in a comfy museum with a pool and spectacular views. Breakfast needs a bit of improvement if there's something to get nit-picky about. Nothing to do with the hotel but the surrounding fortress town and the lower (livelier) town are charming, authentic, and lots of fun for couples, families, scolars of Italy, or amateur historians. Recommend it all.
