"Outside of city center however it was a nice reprieve from the noise and chaos. there are some wonderful neighborhood gems for restaurants and the bus runs regularly and reliably. Only negative was when we reached out to the host upon arriving at the building, the host took 10 minutes to reply and to remotely open the door which after a long day of travel and standing in 90*+ heat with multiple children outside, it was very frustrating. "The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We spent time at the pool and had breakfast on one of the days. We also visited the spa. Our executive room had 2 beds and view of the river. It was large, clean and well appointed, perfect for my daughter and I. The downside to this hotel is that it is a ways out of Florence centre, about a half hour walk and not sure i would be comfortable walking at night in the area. They do offer a free shuttle however the times did not always work for us. We took taxis because it was too hot to walk or too late in the evening and the price of the taxi's did add up over our 3 day stay. Our facials at the spa were just ok. Beautiful environment but not sure they are worth the price. Pool area filled up fast due to the hot weather. If you want to be away from the centre of Florence, this is a great choice."

"This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The property is well maintained and very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful. The shuttle was an amazing bonus and breakfast was incredible. Such a lovely experience and made the stay in Florence unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel and hopefully will one day have the chance to return."

"What a wonderful surprise to such a beautiful hotel, the staff were so helpful with everything we needed. We did not have a rent a car, had to take a bus to the center city and it was so easy. They had happy hour everyday free appitizers and drinks , wine pastry , Only hotel ever that we stayed at was so generous. Love it there and we will stay there again, perfect area in Florence."

"Such a lovely property! The grounds are beautiful and having a pool to use after a hot day of walking around is wonderful. We found our dinner in the restaurant to be excellent! Good breakfast buffet! The only slight downside is if you want to go into Florence every day, while they do offer a shuttle, it stops quite a walk from the centre of town and the schedule isn’t always convenient so we needed up taking taxis a lot which added up financially. Still worth the area and the hotel but be aware of location. We loved it!"
