"To start with, no check in information was sent to me before I arrived. When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in. Once in the property, things didn't really improve. "We stayed for night, Overall a good clean hotel, but check in experience was weird! Only one staff member on reception. The booking software didn't seem to be working. We were given the wrong key (access card) which let us into a room already occupied, thankfully the guests weren't there, just their open luggage, but this could have been incredibly embarrassing. Moar hotel needs to urgently review its check in process and staffing levels on Saturday afternoons. As their check in software allows guests access to other guests rooms it needs to be replaced."

"We stayed at the hotel on one of the hottest days of the year and we were alerted in advance by the hotel to the absence of air-conditioning. Nevertheless the hotel provided fans to mitigate the discomfort and this was very much appreciated. The staff behaved professionally and obligingly throughout and were helpful, including when I rang in advance to book a meal in the hotel restaurant. The hotel and rooms were clean; the toilet flush in our room was temperamental but this was the only hiccup. Our stay was enjoyable. We did not take breakfast but the meal in the restaurant gave good vale for money"
