“Check in was easy, room was good at first glance. While laying in bed I rolled over and landed on something hard. Upon further investigation I realized there was a plastic clothes hanging tucked between the mattress and fitted sheet. That had me questioning whether someone actually changed the bedding from the last person or if they accidentally laid it on the mattress while cleaning and forgot it. Either way I was grossed out but too tired and it was so late when I found it I didn’t bother...

“I was impressed with the staff and how they were always busy cleaning and they took pride in the property as well as the wildlife. The beach was perfect and easily accessed from the hotel. Lots of options for food and frink right on the property. Shopping and other restaurants were within walking distance. ”

“Great place to stay. Did a quick staycation here and enjoyed the food, and the pool. I think they should put some pads on the loungers under the cabanas though. Like they have upstairs on the 7th floor adult pool. Would come back in the future! ”

“Found some individuals lurking on the premises grounds. Did not feel safe. Clearly the office personnel must have felt the same. No one manning the desk. register by computer. They wanted an additional 100 damage deposit fee, I then refuse to pay he the damage deposit. I Asked the computer guy if I didn't pay would I be charged a cancellation fee? He said no. Best I don't get charged. ”

“it was over price hotel but it was possible bicuz it was Florida, Fort Myers. It was fine if you stay just overnight not doing anything. soso to stay just one overnight...”

“Great location , nice pool. Skip the breakfast there and go to the gourmet food store for a delicious quick breakfast. Be sure to enjoy lunch or dinner at the tiki bar . Rooms are tired and could use a makeover. ”

“Great hotel. Nice location near Sanibel. Heavy traffic to get to Fort Meyers Beach. Pool is very small, but otherwise this hotel was great!”

“The chair and house staff were very nice. Front desk could have been more helpful. We had to go to the Chamber of Commerce for a map. We did not think the restaurant food was up to par. We thought this would have been more of a resort but it just seemed like a motel. Not really worth $400 plus a night. ”

“I think the photos of the motel were misleading. The attached bar was loud some nights. Cleaning service was spotty”

“Main reason for this bad review is the fact that water pressure is nonexistent. How do you build a brand new hotel with zero water pressure. Expect to triple your shower time and come out feeling like you’re still covered in soap. The pool: pool are is so small and the building blocks the sun from even touching the pool area. Very stupid design. The pool itself is small but I did love that its saltwater. Anyway, pick one of the other 6 hotels in the area ”

“No staff to check in was kiosk. Also key didnt work when we got to room so had to go tobkiosk again. We like real people customer service ”

“Subtracted one star because there were a couple of very small maintenance issues. Not enough to affect my decision to stay there. Perfection would raise the price considerably. ”
